College and Young Adult Ministry
Him we proclaim, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom, that we may present everyone mature in Christ. For this I toil, struggling with all his energy that he powerfully works within me. Colossians 1:28-29
Sunday Gatherings
Sunday Evenings 4:30 - 6:30 pm in the Community life Center Living room
Each Sunday evening, we gather to enjoy fellowship, sit under the Word as it is taught, worship God through music, and discuss the teaching in small groups. We view this time as a means of grace by which we grow in our spiritual maturity together, as we listen to God’s Word, commune with him through prayer, seek to glorify him with our lives, and build each other up as brothers and sisters.
Weekly Small Groups
Both fall and spring semesters we have Bible study small groups that meet for roughly 10 weeks, ending before finals week (per Sac State’s academic calendar). Each week, a group of students gather at a home or in the College Ministry Room at Fremont to study a book of the Bible, discuss what the passage teaches, meditate on the Word, and enjoy communion with God through prayer. We view these nights as having incredible value for our discipleship to Jesus, our knowledge of God through the Word and prayer, and our building up of the brothers and sisters in our small group.
