Reformation Sunday: What is it?

Reformation Sunday is a celebration of God's work within His church over 500 years ago. Many scholars point to the beginning of the Reformation as when Martin Luther nailed "95 theses" on the door of the Wittenburg, Germany chapel, protesting what he felt were abuses by the Catholic Church, and departures from how the Bible presented God's gift of salvation in Jesus Christ.
